Frehley's Comet is the debut solo album by former KISS lead guitarist Ace Frehley (also known as "Space Ace" or "The Spaceman"), released on June 7, 1987, through Megaforce Records/Atlantic Records. The album marked Ace's return to the music scene after leaving KISS in 1982, showcasing a blend of hard rock and heavy metal infused with catchy melodies. The album received critical acclaim for it's energetic vibe and Ace's signature guitar work, while also achieving notable commercial success, peaking at #43 on the Billboard 200. The single "Into the Night" reached #27 on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart (now known as the Mainstream Rock chart).
